Join us in raising awareness for PTSD this June and together let’s promote trauma informed care!

June marks PTSD Awareness Month, a time to bring attention to the struggles that many people face as a result of trauma. Post-traumatic stress disorder can affect anyone who has experienced or witnessed a traumatic event, experienced childhood neglect, violence, discrimination, abuse or other adverse events, and it can have a significant impact on mental health and daily life. At RRCOOC, we are committed to supporting those who are living with PTSD or experiencing trauma responses in daily life, and we support those raising awareness about this important issue. We offer a range of resources and services to help individuals and families cope with the effects of trauma and move towards healing and recovery, and we have included helpful tools and resources in the attached resource below.
